Color differences in PS vs PNG export

Hello,

Would anyone mind helping me figure out why my PSD file within photoshop has a very different color-wise than my exported PNG file? I've made sure my edits were saved and I've re-exported a few times. My "Mode" is RGB color - 8 bit. How do I go about rectifying this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I would like to answer my own question for those who find that they have a similar issue. My problem was solved by avoiding "Quick Export as PNG" and instead hitting "Export As" and selected the box next to "Embed Color Profile" down at the bottom in the section "Color Space."

Only colour managed programs will use the embedded profile. If you are working in any RGB profile except sRGB, you may wish to first convert to sRGB before saving PNG so that non-colour managed programs such as certain web browses and photo viewing apps will display the image at the "lowest" common colour display.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that both legacy Save for Web and the "New" export options both allow for saving to sRGB while saving, so there is no need to convert to sRGB beforehand if you are working in a different colour space.
