Color Management

I got a new Mac and my Photoshop is now printing really light. When I go to print, the dialog box says to "enable the printer's color management in the printer settings dialog box." I have a Canon MX410 and I don't even know where the box they talk about is. How do I do this? Is there set-by-step pictures somewhere? And will that solve the problem?

Thank you!

You want Photoshop to Manage Colors or you want the Printer to manage color not both managing colors. So you need to set Photoshop Print singings and your Printer driver setting accordingly. My OS is Windows your Mac UI may be a little different

Thank you! I don't have the option for Driver Matching under Color Correction (which is odd because even my printer's manual shows that I should), but after you pointed me in the right direction I was able to keep playing around with the settings and figure it out so that at least the printer can manage the colors! Turns out there were 2 printer profiles named the same and I needed to be using the second one as well.

Thank you so much! You made my week!

Have you profiled the monitor on your new Mac?  Most screens are not calibrated/profiled, which means what you see on the screen will not match your output.  As part of your color management workflow, you want to profile your working space (monitor) and output (printer).
