Color transitioning tool for CS2?

Greetings! I am using PS CS2.

I have 100 pictures i need to edit.

50 of these images display a certain area at a different altitude, they have a solid color tone (let's say light brown), but each picture has a different level of detail about it. The other 50 images display another image at the same altitude, but have another solid color tone (let's say deep orange).

I'd like to make a continuous 3 second clip in another program of 100 images merged together so, that the first of the deep orange pictures had the most light brown and least deep orange, and the 49th deep orange image had very little light brown tone and most deep orange. Basically i want a color transition from brown to orange throughout the 50 images so that the color would change almost unnoticeable..

I see lots of filters which i could apply to each picture and make the color shift, but i want to be precise, and i want a precise tool of filter that does this sort of color transitioning..

So what should i do?
