Bonjour.

Y a t'il une possibilité de realiser des textures seamless avec normal map et height map dans Photoshop CC 2019?

Merci.

Vincent

Hi

Yes it is possible.

Make your texture and use the offset filter to move it half along and half down. Then repair the edge join which is now in the middle by cloning or healing.

That would be your base colour.

You can then use filter 3d generate bump and generate normal to create bump and normal maps.

That said, Photoshop is not the ideal tool for 3D textures.  Adobe now own Allegorithmic's  Substance. The Substance suite includes :

Substance Designer for creation of tileable textures with all maps, e.g. Base color, roughness, metallic, height, normal, transmission......

Substance Alchemist, which simplifies the production of textures particularly when starting with photos.

Substance Painter for applying combinations of textures onto a model surface in layers. If you will be doing a lot of texture work, Substance is well worth it.

Hi Vincent,

You can have a look at this article to know how you can add a seemless texture on 3D objects. https://helpx.adobe.com/in/photoshop/using/3d-texture-editing.html#create_a_tile_for_a_repeating_texture

Let us know if it helps.
