Consistent crashing when transforming in Photoshop
Hi, this issue has been plaguing me for years now. I even stopped using photoshop for a year because of this issue, in hopes that it would be fixed by the time I got back into using PS. Unfortunately it still seems to be a problem for me.
Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.9.0 20240516.r.573 296f739 x64
Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
Version: 10 10.0.19045.4412
I have a very high end PC, so I'm confident that the crashes are not because of system stress or overload or anything along those lines.
PS Version:
The program crashes specifically when I use the transform shortcut and immediately put my stylus to the tablet "too quickly."
I can replicate this crash on command. It doesn't crash if I use the transform shortcut and wait a second before putting my stylus back to the tablet, but i cannot constantly make the mental note to 'wait one-two seconds' before editing the transform.
Canvas recovery is the only reason I've been able to put up with it, but I still occassionally lose a ton of progress in between the auto saving, and it's just exhausting to deal with crashes almost every time I use the transform tool.
If anyone knows what specifically causes this to happen (aside from simply moving too quickly) or a way to prevent it from happening, please let me know... I really want to enjoy using PS again
