Constrain Tool Shortcut Change [Surface Pro]

Hello! I need some help with a shortcut on my Photoshop: the constrain tool. I have a Surface Book, which has a very handy detachable screen and pen. But whenever I'm in tablet mode, I can't use the shortcuts on my keyboard. This usually isn't a problem, unless I need to adjust the size of an object while keeping the object's dimensions. So my question: how do I change the constrain shortcut from holding down Shift to a button on my mouse? I have a gaming mouse that has extra buttons on the side: I was hoping to be able to change the shortcut to one of those buttons, but I can't seem to be able to find the constrain shortcut in the Change Shortcut menu. If changing the shortcut is not possible, then is there some way to scale an object to proportion without holding Shift? I have Adobe Photoshop CC on a Surface Book (first generation). Help! Thanks!

Have you tried Adobe Touch Screen modifier keys in CC 2017?

What mouse are you using?  I used to use a Razer mouse with a bunch of extra buttons, but I broke it .  I now use Logitech mice and keyboards and I can definitely assign Shift to one of the G-Keys using LGS.   Having said that, I don't find most of the additional mouse buttons easy to use quickly and intuitively, so I leave them at their defaults and use the keyboard G-Keys.

We'll invite our JJMack to this thread, as he is a wiz with the Surface Pro, and I have changed your Subject line to show this is about the Surface Pro.

Can you set one of the buttons to Shift on your mouse?

Then you would just press that Shift button while Transforming to constrain proportions.

    Hi

I don't know of a way to copy that key control - however, whilst working without a keyboard can you not just click on the link in the options bar?
