Content aware scaling in CC 2018

I was wondering if there is a paper or a patent publicly available for the algorithm behind the content aware scaling in Photoshop CC 2018. If I wanted to mention it in my research paper, how could I cite it? Can anyone give me some information about this?

    The wiki page only discuss seam carving in general. However, there are many types of implementations for it. I was interested in the implementation used in Adobe CC 2018. You know, when I am referring it in my paper, I have to be sure I have the right algorithm.
