Conversion from negativ to positiv

I have around 150 120 films in b/w negative format.I want to photograph them over a light table and then convert them over to positives so I can print low resolution contact copies.But I don`t know how to convert from negative to positiv.I`m doing this because it`s much easier than scanning everything in 2400dpi,I`m going to scann the best ones in high resolution.Can anybody help me ?

Go to Image menu > Adjustments > Invert.

Or press Ctrl + I (Windows), or Cmd + I (Mac).

If you're shooting the negatives with a camera and shooting RAW images, you can use invert the curves in Camera Raw or Lightroom to turn the negative positive. Then you can move the ends of the curves in to adjust the contrast. The dynamic range in Camera Raw is much better than what you will get in Photoshop, so you will get less banding when you adjust your images. You can then also use all the controls in Camera Raw to adjust the image. Only problem is that most of them work in reverse: highlights control shadows, etc.

Per is right - you can use Photoshop's Go to Image / Adjustment / Invert

If you wanted to invert any colour negatives, then you'll need to get rid of the orange base tint first using Photoshop's grey eyedropper to neutralise. You can find that in adjust / levels
