Hi,

Im trying to use Photoshop(PS) to convert a .cube LUT to an ICC-Profile but PS allways exports it with the Profile connection space (PCS) set to RGB.
I need the PCS to be Lab though.

Does somebody know how tochange this?

Setting the Image to Lab does not work then I cant appl the LUT anymore

Thanks for the Help

Hmm, maybe because it's device link. Normal device profiles always convert to or from CIELab or CIEXYZ. Device link profiles don't really have a PCS, they go direct from one space to another; this might be a misleading report from the utility. I think that your use case is outside Adobe's design aims.

OK after some Research it turns out that this is indeed the problems root cause. Can I somehow combinne an import iCC with a link iCC into a new import ICC?

No reason why Photoshop should give a choice of PCS.

So far as I know the only valid PCS are the two: CIELab and CIEXYZ. RGB makes no sense, from what I understand.

This is what ICC Profile Inspector says:

The site has a free "contact us" option. Perhaps they can offer a solution.

Sadly the Demo does not do LUT->ICC conversions and there is no Information on what type of ICC the tool generates.
I'm not willig to pay 50€ for something that might not fix my problem. Especially when photoshop can most likely do it.
