Convert multi-page pdf to multi-page jpg files?

    I agree with above comments.  There does not appear to be such a thing as a multipage jpeg.  For my own task, I needed to edit a two page pdf. The task was to remove items from each page and put the pages back together.  To accomplish this task, I used Apple’s Preview application and an application called Paintbrush.

    First duplicate the pdf and work with the copy.  Open the pdf in Preview.  Export the contents of the pdf as a jpeg.  The result is a jpeg version of first page of the pdf.  In Preview, change the order of the pages of the pdf by using thumbnails view.  Exporting the contents of the pdf as a jpeg now will result in a jpeg version of second page of pdf.

    Use Paintbrush to open each jpeg.   In Paintbrush it’s easy to remove something from the page by using the rectangle tool (draw rectangle around item and hit delete).  Save the changes to each jpeg.

      Use Preview to open each edited jpeg and export each one as a one page pdf.  Use Preview to merge the two one-page pdfs into a single two-page document.

Perhaps a simple Bridge slide presentation would do the job, as well. What I read into the inquiry was a Layer Comp solution because of the final sentence in the inquiry: "How can I convert the multiple-page pdf file to a single multiple-page jpg file?". 

Put all the jpgs in a single layered file. Use the Layer Comps function to set up and view the "paging sequence" Of course, this can only be used within Photoshop.
