convert pdf pages to jpg files

Question

I can open a pdf in photoshop selecting all pages, it size (trim box, media box etc.) and resolution. I then get several photoshop documents which are transparent. I then have to save each file as jpg, close it, save the next as jpg, close it etc.

Isn't there a way to have photoshop open a pdf with random pages and have it save each pages as a jpg by itself? I can't use an action, cause it doesn't now how many pages the pdf has.

Paul has a script that will do that and has more options if you need them. http://ps-scripts.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=1882

Note although the script title is 'PDF Processor CS2-CS3.jsx' it does work in CS4. I think it was written before CS4 shipped.
