Copy Layer Style Missing

I have just purchased a new Mac and installed Photoshop on it. When I right click on a layer I assumed, by default, it would display the layer options list. It however does not. In addition, the copy layers style link is also missing when I do access the layers options list by clicking on Layer Options Hamburger menu. How can I, once again enable the right click for the layer options and find out why I can no longer see the copy and paste layer attribute.
