Copy/Paste issue with new files in PS 23.4.1

for all of time, i would copy a portion of one file, open a new file, the new file dimensions would immediately match the dimensions of what i copied, and i would paste right away. fast / immediate process.

now, when i hit "new file," the dimensions are an old set of dimensions. i have to close that window and hit new file 1-3 times before the dimensions of what i copied populate the new file size fields. then i can paste the right fit into that new file.

small / obnoxious happening but a significant / unnecessary slowdown on productivity. please revert / fix, thank you.

Hi @Hesam Yes, this is coming up a lot with a new change. Please try checking Use Legacy "New Document" Interface in Preferences on the General tab. Is it working now? Let us know.

Yes this is really annoying and legacy "new document" doesn't solve it in my case.
