Hello
I hope you can help ..
I installed the new photoshop today (Mar 4th, 2025), on my pc, and accidently deleted the core tools when I was creating a new workspace.
I uninstalled and reinstalled photoshop but the core tools did not come back.

I spoke with an agent and they did not know how to fix this.
it was great for a moment to have access to all the lr functions such as adaptive color at my
fingertips in ps <sigh>
thank you

I have multiple Presets with different Workspaces & Toolbars for the various types of work I do -- i.e. painting, photo editing, etc...  The ability to Load a Preset is a huge time saver.  It just takes a bit of pre-planning.

Reinstalling does not reset settings.  All you need do is reset the workspace you are using.

If you are customising a workspace, then consider also setting up a custom toolbar, and saving them with a new custom workspace.   This is one of my favourite Photoshop functions, and incredibly useful.
