Corrupted Layer

When I try to open a file I have been working on a ton recently, I get the pop up "This file conatins one or more layers which appear to be corrupt. Continue reading layers?" with options "OK, Cancel, and Flatten." Once I click okay it shows up with another pop up stating "could not complete your request because an unexpected end of file was encountered." Anyone know ways to recover my file/open it???

    There are some PSD repair utilities out there, but we generally don't hear a lot of success stories associated with them.  I don't know of a specific one to try, and you can Google as well as I can.

    If you do manage to get it open. right click each layer in turn and choose Duplicate.  Copy the first to a new document, and subsequent layers to that same document.  Any layers that don't play nicely, wright off and make again.
