Could not complete the Video Frames to Layers command because the file could not be opened.

Hello all, after updating my 2017 Photoshop CC, it has stopped being able to open .mp4 files that I am trying to make into gifs. Absolutely nothing I have done has changed at all from previous times I have made gifs, the only difference is the updated Photoshop 2018. The clip is no longer than any other clip I've used and I'm at a loss at the moment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi chefbmo,

I'd suggest resetting the Photoshop preferences to default first and check if that helps. You may refer Preferences in Photoshop​

Also, which operating system are you using and do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed? Impact of uninstalling Apple QuickTime
