i'm running Photoshop v 20.0.7. Camera Raw just updated, and now i can't open any JPG files (get the "could not complete your request because file was not found." how do i go back to the previous version of Camera RAW. seems like it's been a bug in CR that causes this issue in the past

Found the solution:

the problem is the OS version and its incompatiblitiy with the latest Camera Raw version (which gets automatically updated when you update your CC Photoshop version):

Camera Raw plug-in installer

OS Sierra 10.12.6 users have to install the older Camera Raw 11.4.1 version

After that Photoshop works again.

I'm having a similar issue.

Running Photoshop 20.0.7 and getting this error message when I try to open a jpg: Could not complete the request because file was not found.

On a mac running OS Sierra 10.12.6

I have the exact same issue with jpg-files. Running Photoshop 20.0.7 (or 19.1.8), Camera Raw updated today as well, Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6: Could not complete the request because file was not found. Other file-formats no problem: png, pdf, tif
