"Could not open .psd because it is not a valid Photoshop document" error - Photoshop CC 2020

I tried to open a PSD I was working on, when I received this error message. Are there any ways to fix this? Photoshop CC 2020.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about the error, this usually occurs if a psd has gone corrupt. Could you please let us know the operating system you're working on?

Also, where did you save the file local drive or external drive/network?
