Couldn't complete your request because of a program error (Magic wand tool)

When I select the "Magic Wand Tool" and then click on "Select Subject" It says couldn't complete your request because of a program error. How can I solve the problem?

    Have you updated Photoshop to the latest version yet? Does the issue appear on Photoshop 2024 (v25.1)?
