I want use the function "indexed color" for my all document, when i use on my layer it's obligation to "flatten image" and it's not possible because i use a lot of dynamic objects !

It's possible to apply indexed color for my all document ?

Help me please 🙂 Thanks !

Bonjour !

Elise

If you mean that you want to keep multiple Layers (including Smart Objects) in an image with Indexed Color then that is indeed impossible.

How would Layers’ Blend Modes, Opacity, Fill etc. even work in Indexed Color?

What is the ultimate point here?

Indexed Color provides by definition limted (one might even say degraded) results so why would you want to work in that Color Mode?
