CPU usage at 100% while using Photoshop 2020 using any tool in refine edge

Hey,

 

since the last update my CPU is hitting 100% while i've been using the refine edge tools in Photoshop

I've done some googling and found something about CEPHtmlEngine  However I can't see that process running in Taskmanager and it's just Photoshop 2020 that's hogging all the runtime.

 

CPU is a 6600K I got 16GB of RAM.  Running 3 month old install of latest Windows 10

File size is 650ish KB (3005x4500 jpeg)  Can't Fathom it.  Program is completely unusable.

 

Using an Intuos (Bamboo Let's be honest) CTL-490 wired for input.  Tried uninstalling the driver for that and using mouse..Same results

    We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop 2020. Please ensure you have the latest version of Photoshop (21.2.4) installed on the machine.Also, please ensure you have all available Windows and driver updates installed on the machine as well.
