First of all I have a very good machine

i5

16 gb ram

R9 280x

Windows 10 latest

When I try to apply the camera shake filter my pc becomes unusable and it takes at much as 30 mins to apply the filter

Doesn't matter what version of Ps I use (2017-2018).

On the performance tab in preferences I use basic setting of 3D performance, I have tried also not using the gpu but with no avail

Please help!

    Hi Ivan,

Are you referring to the Shake reduction filter?

Could you try updating the GPU drivers from manufacturer's website and let us know if it helps?

Also, try updating Photoshop to version 20.0.1 via the Creative Cloud desktop app and see how it goes?

    Regards,
    Sahil

    Hi! Thanks for answering!

I have the latest AMD drivers, the thing is that I have another CPU then I upgrade it and then this problem began to appear, so I suspect that is a CPU issue?

I have also tested downgrading my AMD GPU driver and it doesn't work either, I use the shake reduction filter to sharpen my portraits but now It have become practically unusable for me.
