Crashes

Soon after updating to PS 23.2.1 I began to see PS crash on my Win 10 machine.  This has never happened before.  Unfortunately, I cannot pinpoint what task I am preforming each time the system crashes but it is guaranteed to crash once a day even after using it without incident for hours.  I have not added any plugins for more than a month and just do the normal updates for both PS and Win.

I know there are two recommended potential fixes:  rollback to an earlier version (which I can do since I have earlier versions on my machine) or reset the preferences.

Is there a preferred method?  If I rollback to the previous version of PS and things work fine, when I next update my sytem will it include all versions subsequent to the rollback one?

I suggest you keep the previous version so you can continue working and also keep the latest version as well and experiment. when you have time, to try and sort out the crashing issue (which might include resetting the preferences).

By the way, how much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?

I have 32 megs of RAM and 175 gig of hard drive space available. From what
I gather, if I want to rollback to the previous version I have to uninstall
the current one. Is this incorrect?

You can have both versions installed at the same time.
