Create a watermark...

I am a rookie with Photoshop....more like completely clueless. I know how to create a simple text watermark. What I would like to do is add a small, simple image to a text watermark. Can someone kindly either explain to me how this is done...or simply point me to a video? I am not having any luck finding a video...guess I am just using the wrong search criteria.

let me guess what will be solution for you:

    • Create blank new document.
    • Type text and place image using File > Place Embedded. Scale and position image.
    • You can crop or trim any extra space and ensure that you have transparent background (hide Background layer if nothing else).
    • Save file as PSD (my watermark.psd), for example.
    • Place my watermark.psd in any image where you want to use watermark.

You could record an action if all you images are the same size and resolution to add a text layer.  Text size need to be approbate to you document size and resolution.   Actions can not use logic to process images by size and resolution. You could Script that but most Photoshop do not have the required skills to be able to script Photoshop.

Or your could create a large png file that is  text on a transparent background and use a Photoshop script like my Place watermark to place that on to you images sized for the image size and resolution.  You can use Script the others write like menu File>Scripts>Image Processor... Your PNG file can include an image along with the text

    Menu File>Place  embedded or Linked

    Copy Paste

The are many ways to do things in Photoshop.

View some tutorials you do not learn Photoshop in a short period of time and feature are added. No one uses all the features in Photoshop its a huge feature rich application.

No. What I am wanting to do is have 2 lines of simple text with an image either placed in the spacing between the words or after the words..
