Creative Cloud Libraries

Hey guys & girls,

Question about CC Libraries when working between programs and using files on shared drive/network.

Im currently working in AI building up some sketches which are for a printed document (absolutely fine no problems)... I am then copying and pasting them across into PS to save them down into a document for use on a website.

The issue Im having is at first it copies the artwork I created etc across as a smart object which is totally fine... but then for some reason it suddenly decides... "I'm gonna add this to your CC Library and link to that instead" not sure why though? Maybe because computers think they are so smart these days and can see your using the same image over multiple programs... However I do not want this to happen because the file is on a network and my CC library is local. (works great for me opening and editing files etc but no so for the rest of the team or other departments)

How do I stop this from happening...

I have turned off CC sync in my preferences but that just seems to stop the online back up of my CC Library.

I would like to avoid moving the CC library onto the network (if that is even possible?) because means changes to network and other issues etc.

Also if I can disable this from happening is there a quick way to relink the copied data?

Thank you for any assistance in this matter.

Spencer

SOLVED : When you paste the data across there is a check/tick box at the bottom when the paste date window pops up. this box is ticked/selected by default (very annoying) you need to uncheck this to stop it diverting to your library.
