Creative Cloud Sync Fails due to files too large - can not delete archive files

I am syncing my Lightroom CC photos to the cloud using the Creative Cloud Sync.

Recently the sync continues to fail (and no new photos being uploaded) with the message:

The number of assets and collections in your Creative Cloud account is too large. Please empty your

archive folder and remove other assets that you no longer require.

I am only using 65GB of 1TB of the cloud storage available.

I tried to go in to delete archive folders, but it gives me an error and will not delete anything.

Not sure of next steps here...

Randy

Can you go into the folders and remove smaller sections instead of the entire archive at once?

The other question is how large/how many photos are you trying to sync? Would that exceed your 1 TB storage capacity?

Hey Kevin,

I am only using 65GB of 1TB of storage..that is what is confusing me.

Also, when I go into my archive folder, I see multuple folders by date. I open a folder and see a zip file. When I try to open the zip file, nothing. When I try to delete even a single archive folder, i get a message: Could not delete item.

what next?

Randy

Contact Adobe Support directly they can access your assets and see if they can remove them.

Log in to https://www.adobe.com/about-adobe/contact.html and click the bubble in the lower right. Type "Agent" to get a person not the bot.
