Question

Crop overlay golden spiral is too faint

I'm using the Golden Spiral crop overlay, and I can't see it. Maybe it's the background color of the photo, which is grayish green vegetation. But the spiral is pretty much invisible. It has nothing to do with opacity of the cropped area, because the issue is inside the crop box.

Surely the same people who brought us the last few bug-free versions have devised a way to make the overlay lines more visible? Perhaps change the color or thicken the line? Thanks

This obviously doesn't change the line thickness, however you could add a temporary adjustment layer such as invert, or a solid colour fill at reduced opacity etc, crop, then remove the adjustment layer. Not sure if this will be enough if you are on a high resolution monitor.

There are more manual options that predate the golden spiral, such as placing a vector golden spiral shape as a temporary guide for cropping. I'm not in front of a computer so I can't look into this now.

Yeah that's a pretty good idea, since the cropping is about layout and not color.
