Crop tool not working

I'm not sure why but when i select the crop tool - it doesn't allow me to move the image inside the crop marquee

Also when I press enter it does not crop it

Additionally, when i do get the crop preview it loses the image and just shows transparency??

I have tried to reset the tool but nothing has changed. What is going on here?

It was a weird bug I think. I restarted the computer and it was ok again.

mmmmm.... this has happened with a few things on photoshop lately. Might need a new update :-)

Can you tell us your Photoshop version and operating system please?

Is this with one particular image or all images? If the former, are there any locked layers?

Have you tried restarting the computer?
