Cropping black-out in PS

Is anyone else experiencing this when editing files in PS? I attempt to execute a crop to an image and the entire image goes black.

When you select the crop tool - try clicking the "Clear" button at the top in the options.

Did that resolve the issue? If not, can you please send a screen shot of the issue along with specifics incl. PS version, Graphics Card, OS, RAM, etc.
