I am a bit confused.  Adobe asks you to crop the .png files as small as possible but then they advise the customer that resizing them may affect quality.

I do use smart cropping when I crop them and I check that they arent losing quality before I post them..

I am wondering if I should be leaving them full size.

    @207511144

    Are you cropping the images in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Adobe Illustrator, or ???

    Let us know and we will be happy to move your post to the appropriate forum for you.

    Cropping and resizing are two different issue. Cropping is removing parts of the image, similar to cutting a photo with sissors. It does not affect quality. Resizing is taking the same pixels and making them larger, which does affect quality.

    in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

    p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
