CS4 no longer works in Sonoma 14.1 OSX

For years, I've been using the CS4 in my Macbook. However, I recently updated the OSX to Sonoma and discovered that it no longer works. Is there a workaround?

I know CS4 is pretty old but I'm very happy with it and don't like the creative cloud at all. 😞

@lawn45365531 there is no workaround, also activation servers for CS4 have been shutdown, so if you revert to a previous OS that CS4 did work on you wont be able to activate it again, unless you have Time Machine setup, it might work that way but I'm not a MAC user so I could be wrong about the Time Machine bit.

CS4 is WAY too old and will not work on Sonoma. You'll have to get the current CC version or switch to a new image editor.

The CS4 apps started to have significant issues running in macOS 10.14 Mojave, which Apple released 5 years ago (2018). By macOS 10.15, Apple had changed the OS enough that some old Creative Suite apps could no longer run. So CS4 got shut out by macOS changes several years ago.

The nail in the coffin is Apple Silicon processors, which Apple started releasing in 2020. Creative Suite apps (CS through CS6) were coded only for Intel, and cannot run on an Apple Silicon Mac.

I have another disc set of CS4 for PC and installed it on Windows 10 last month.  I could activate it indeed.
