CS4 trouble with VS 2008

When trying to add a reference to the CS4 object library in VS 2008 (using Vista (32 bit)), I get an error when clicking on it in the com tab saying it's not a com component.

here is a screen cap

This is my first attempt at using the scripting interface on Vista with CS4. I have been doing so with CS3, CS2 and CS ever since release 7.0 so I'm not new to this stuff.

I have not seen the same problem on XP. However I'm not comfortable that I won't run into it there also.

Any help?

I did find a resolution to this problem. So for those that are trying to use C#.net or vb.net in VS2005 or vs2008 in Vista, if you see this error, just do the following.

Go to the Photoshop exe in the program files folder for CS4. Then mark the exe property to run this program as administrator.

Start Photoshop.

After that the problem seems to be gone.

... because you always need to run Adobe programs first time as administrator - so they can register COM components

Prolly not. CS4 _just_ went out the door. You should probably expect a couple of
weeks before others get their copies and are in a position to help. Unless, of
course, somebody from Adobe that's familiar with VB, CS2008, and Vista happen to
be lurking.
