CS6

I bought CS6 as a download back in 2013 and used it quite a bit back then. I stopped using it for a few years, but tried to open it up and use it again recently.  Adobe says it has no record of my registering the product and when I try to open it up it says it is a trial version only.  How do I get it to work?  I also have changed computers, but copied CS6 from my old laptop onto my new one.

If you bought CS6 as a download (I think we no longer had the option of a DVD by then) then it should be registered to you.

Log in to your Adobe account (the look of which has changed (again!) and click on Manage Plan

    My Products

And you should see your registered apps complete with serial numbers. I can't remember if it was possible to activate CS6 without registering it back then.  Do you have your emails from 2012?  You would have had confirmation of purchase and serial number in separate emails from storemanager@adobe.com Mine is dated early May 2012

Good luck, and let us know how you get on.

BTW My Oz$607 was for an upgrade from CS5, and for the Extended version.  I'd be interested in how much other people paid for their copies of CS6, and what country they bought it from?  I used to get intensely annoyed at the price gouging non Adobe's American customers suffered back then.  I think I paid something like 50% more.   Does price gouging still exist?

Do you still have any of the information for this software? The Serial Number or registration key?
