    Hi

You can no longer buy CS6. It was released in 2012 and was replaced by Photoshop CC. Photoshop CC is available on subscription only.

Don't be fooled by the many so called "genuine" copies available on internet auction sites. Hacked copies of Photoshop are common and, as well as not running correctly (if at all) - can bring malware with them.

The system requirements for Photoshop CC are here:

The only perpetual licence now sold is for Photoshop Elements. The system requirements are here:

You may think that using an outdated app is no issue, but remember this doesn't just mean you don't get new headline features. You also get no support for new systems. If you choose to run old apps you will have to freeze your system, and at some time not buy new hardware too.

Just another question, if they are not selling perpetual licenses for cs6 products, why does the cs6 apps are still on their site? I am sorry If i have so many questions, I am still new to the Adobe ecosystem

    Hi

They still give the ability to download the old version to those who bought a perpetual license when they were sold and may need to re-install.

Your laptop is entry level and wouldn't do much of a job of running any version of Photoshop. It should run, but slowly, perhaps painfully. However, the most important thing you haven't mentioned: the system. (I second the advice that, unless you're planning to buy CS6 from your most trusted friend who had it new and kept it in a cupboard, you will probably be ripped off).

The current Photoshop product is Creative Cloud at $10 a month. If this doesn't fit your budget, my advice is to look for another photo editor. Given your laptop specs, that might be wise anyway. If you're not a professional photographer/retoucher, consider Photoshop Elements, available with one time fee, but still a stretch for your laptop.

yes dave, I saw some Adobe cs6 apps on ebay, and they are selling it in a very low price, and i know that those are cracked apps, and I am not and will not ever buy those, actually Im a GIMP user and now finally decided to fully adapt adobe photoshop.

    See

    Photoshop system requirements

to verify if the OS meets the requirements without exceeding them.

You should also try installing the trial to make sure.

    Edit:

Download Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications

    https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html

But as Adobe does not sell Photoshop CS6 perpetual licenses anymore you should be very, very careful about purchasing one.

There is a distinct possibility that you might get ripped off.

Excuse me, but that doesn't make sense. You can afford $800-1000 (or whatever it was) up front - right now! - but you can''t afford $10 monthly? Have you done the math? Do you realize how long this will run before break even? That's 80 to 100 months, or at least seven years. And you get free upgrades as they come, and you get Lightroom thrown in.

I suppose there could be reasons for not wanting to subscribe, but money is most certainly not one of them.
