Question

CS6 ScriptListener

hi,

A newbie question - the documentation for Scripting in PSCS6 seems to be incorrect. There is in my PSCS6 installation (Windows, 64-bit) no \Scripting\Utilities folder as the document specifies. And there is no Plug-Ins/Automate folder either - in which to put the ScriptListener plug-in I have just downloaded as an alternative. So, what exactly is the procedure for getting it to work please?

Put the ScriptListener plug-in into the Plug-Ins folder. The Plug-Ins folder should be located next to Photoshop.exe or the Photoshop application package.

Tom,

Thanks. I did that - there's no sight of the plug-in in the Automate menu itself, but there are indeed JS and VB log files generated and located on the Desktop when I do some stuff in PS. However, there is no logging when I execute a previously recorded Action - how come?

The plug-in is marked hidden so you will not see it in any menu. You should see it in Help -> Get Info.

It should be recording that as a play event with action "bar" and set "foo".
