Cursive Text Exported as SVG Missing Areas of Image

Hi,

When I write a word using a cursive font where some of the lines overlap each other and I convert it to a shape and export as an SVG, parts of the word I wrote are missing, particularly where the lines of the cursive word overlap, as shown in the screenshot below. How do I prevent this or correct it? Thanks!
