Question

Cursor and selection invisible when editing text since latest PS update.

Since updating to Photoshop CC 2019, I can no longer see the cursor, or any selections when I try to edit text. I've looked all over for settings to change this, but can't find anything. It makes editing text very difficult if I don't know where I'm inserting the cursor, or what text I have selected.

I'm working on a Mac, with all updates installed.

Not sure what mac OS you are on, avoid Catalina if you can until the bugs are worked out.

Make sure extras has a checkmark.

Well, isn't that just the way it goes. The moment I posted this, the selection and cursor appeared as it should. The only thing I did was paste a layer, beneath the text layer.

    Hey WalkingStick,

with my PS CC 2019 the same. No cursor. That I can edit, I read this here. A litte bit helpful but not the solution. Your report, that after paste a new layer, text editing works at is should, works not on my system?! Any other solution available?

    Thanks for helping

I try now the old PS CC 2018 version and text editing works at it should!? Maybe 2019 is a little bit buggy?
