Cursor disappears when starting Photoshop or any Adobe app

I am running a new MacBook Pro with Sierra and have downloaded and installed the latest version of Photoshop and all the other Adobe apps. However, when I start up any of them, the cursor disappears, sometimes briefly and sometimes it doesn't even reappear. If I switch to the Finder (Cmd + Tab), the cursor reappears and appears to work without problems after switching the Finder. It is very annoying problem and I shouldn't have to go to the Finder to use my mouse in an Adobe app. Only happening with Adobe apps. Any suggestions?
