I'm using photoshop 2022 in Mac os 12.0.1 and after upgrade my cursor started jumpimg around erratically when using the brush or clone tool.   It only happens occassionally but is very annoying to have to backtrack and correct  the wrong strokes.  Does anyone else have this problem?  And a solution.  Thanks

This SAME thing is happening to me. The cursor is jumping around eradically when using paint brish and also the eraser tool. Super annoying. I regret updating to the most recenbt photoshop 2022. I never had this problem with the old version. Highliy recommend against the new cloud based photoshop. Its terrible and full of bugs. Seems like no one even helps. Your comment was over 6 months ago and no help on the issue.

HI,

I know how frustrating this is as the problem did continue for me for some time. However, for me it just at some point stopped. I have updated photoshop with all updates since then, am now using version 23.3.2. I don't remember exactly when it was corrected but if you haven't, I would suggest you install all upgrades as I am no longer having this issue. Sorry that I can't be of further help.

Hello, thank you for reaching out! I just signed up and downloaded photoshop last week. Is there some place I can go to find all these updates or upgrades you mentioned? Im not really sure what that is. Would my new version I just signed up with, not be a current version?

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about this. Could you try resetting the preferences and let us know if it helps?

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes & actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preset-migration.html
