Cursor not showing up for a specific brush

I'm using Kyle's winter brushes pack and there's a brush called "concept art chopper" that I like, the only problem is that for some reason this brush doesn't show the shape of the brush tip, just a small crosshair but not the crosshair that appears when you press caps lock. It's a really cool brush but the fact that it doesn't have a brush cursor makes it difficult to use. Does anyone know why this might be, or if there's a way I can fix it?
