Hi I'm Tisha and I am fairly knew here and to Photoshop.  I have created a custom stamp, it is my company name and part of it is in my own hand writing.  I would like to know if it is possible to save and use elsewhere.  IE: on a website, on a business card.  Hopefully this makes sense and someone has an answer for me.  If I have not explained it very well please let me know.

Yes, Trisha, you own the logo you have designed and may use it on your website and stationery…providing, of course, the design does not include elements that were created and are owned by someone else. The fact that you created it using Photoshop does not limit its use.

Typically you would save a png logo or signature image file which has a transparent background.  The files could be use on the web in web pages as a background or logo on pages.  Photoshop can also use it to place a watermark one your images.  It would be best to create the logo using vector graphics and save it first as a layers image document with vector layers so you can scale it and save your logo any size you need.  If your logo is a single color creating a custom shape is also a good idea.
