Customize warp tool with number of divisions

Hi there,

is there a way to change the number of divisions on the warp tool? I really like the flexibility that the warp tool has in Mari for example and find that Mari generally gives really nice clean results when transforming images. Something nice that Nuke also does when you clone something, is that it draws a line from source to brush tip so you can align your cloning accurately which is really good for straight lines. Do these features exist in photoshop? If not, what would I have to do to get them implemented?!  I have been using photoshop all day every day for the past ten years and would really love to see these options. Thanks

Hi William

You can make feature requests on the link below (post them as an idea)

On the cloning stamp, again you can put in a request. The following may also help:

1. You can set an exact offset in the Clone Stamp panel.

2.If you are cloning within the vanishing point filter,  when you set the grid(s) the small squares normally disappear when you switch to the clone stamp. However with the grid still on, you can draw some lines with the measure tool. These will stay on screen when you switch to the clone stamp tool.
