Applying for Jobs is hard as it is.

So someone please help me!

Ive made this amazing CV in Photoshop, saved it as Pdf and The short link for my mail gets miss spelled?

My last names becomes litterally misspelled.

I didnt even realise i was creating a short link, someone Who i sent my CV when i was Applying for a job realised it.

Tried different mail adresser, works fine! But as soon as I write The one I would like to use, my last name becomes miss spelled when using The short link. It is nog misspelled in PS!

Just realised the exact same thing happens with the short link for my Instagram.. Once again, my lastname is suddenly missing an L.

Save my day?

Sorry everyone!

The issue is auto shortlinks created by Macs preview software when opening something created in Photoshop and containing ex. Email adresses.

When opening my CV with other Pdf reading softare theres bo problem. When saving from Word to Pdf and opening in Mac preview theres no issue.

Yeah maybe PS is not The best choice for a CV. My choices were Word or PS. Since i like to go creative with my CV, PS was the choice for me.

Thank you guys for your replys!

Firstly,  you should not be creating a RESUME or CV in Photoshop.

You should be using Adobe InDesign.

But it sounds like you are doing something outside of Adobe when it comes to your email address.  As I am not sure how Instagram comes into play.

Are you using unique characters in your email address: letters with umlauts or tildes or with lines above them?  As that could mess up your email address.

Photoshop is so utterly unsuitable for this job. Photoshop doesn't even add links, they would be added later by guesswork.

Hi

Are you sure that it's Photoshop you've used for the CV? (not InDesigner, Illustrator?)

Is there a special Character in your Name/Email?
