Date created changed when saving on Windows 10 x64

So I updated to Photoshop 25 and I now have a major problem when editing and then saving files.

Instead of that just the 'Date modified' properties of the file is changed the 'Date created'-date is also changed to the same current date/time and this mess things up with my organising.

And no this is not, as with other posts about this issue, a mix up with 'Date' or 'Date taken' or such, this is the file properties being changed. Even files with no EXIF (Date taken) have this behaviour.

The thing is that if I have explorer open while saving I can see the file disapearing in the blink of an eye just to appear again so it's almost like Ps deletes the original and replace it with a copy and by that make it have the faulty 'Date created'.

No other program I have behaves like this so it has to have something to do with Ps.

 

Maybe it's just a new setting or something that make it behave like this, if not a bug, or what's up?

    I've just tried that and saw the same but only in Explorer. Looking at the same file in Bridge still shows the original created date and the newly modified date. Also reopening the file in Photoshop and looking at File Info shows the original creation date and the new modified date.

      Having the correct date in Explorer (and every other program on my computer) is kind of essential for me so that PS has the correct info is of no interest for me as long as every othe program shows the wrong one.

      But good (or perhaps bad if it means Adobe has made it like this by intent) that someone else has the same issue.

      Sorry for not getting back to you but life happened and then my computer died...

       

      The files are located in my desktop so nothing to do with a local share or something and my problem isn't the same as mentioned in that post. My files get its created date changed to the same as the modified date when saved in PS.

      OK, so two months and no response what so ever.

      Have I misunderstood what this place is for or have my post just been ignored/missed?
