Delete key in Photoshop 22.0 removes the mask then the adjustment layer, instead of the whole layer

Hello! Looks like with the new update the delete key needs two presses instead of just one to remove and ajustment layer. In the past i'd hit it once and the whole layer would be gone, not it removes the mask first, and then the adjustment layer. Is there any way to revert to the old behaviour? Thank you!
