Question

Difficulty Seeing Cursors/Reticles.

it seems like all of a sudden the cursor for tools like Spot Healing and Clone Stamp are more difficult to see, as if the cursor has become thinner or dimmer. Is there a way to brighten up the cursor itself? Over the past few weeks I've found myself having to move the cursor all the way to the top/side etc...just to find it and then follow it slowly to where I'm working on the screen.

It's not your imagination. The spot healing tool is almost impossible to see over light areas, blue sky areas and grey areas which suck for photographers. A simple setting to allow you to set the outline color and thickness of the brush cursor is all that's needed. There's quite a few posts about this and I am busy with Adobe support on this but it seems to no avail.

I have the same problem but the problem is with all tools. The 'circle' of the selected tool on the image is thread-thin and tends to disappear. "There's quite a few posts about this ..." Nice if you could point folks in the right direction if there have been other posts, especially if the posts have a solution. I have an old CC3 that I find much more satisfying to work with. My version is CC 20.0.5 and yeah, it has bells and whistles but also all kinds of 'imperfections' which makes it difficult to use. Thank you.

I hope it's not your eyes. Maybe its something with your monitor. A common work-around for hard-to-see cursors is to press the Space Bar to temporarily activate the Hand tool, which has an easy-to-see cursor.
