Disable New "Live Gradients" Tool

The new "Live Gradient" tool interferes with my workflow and is slow and laggy as all get out (on a machine with an i9 and an RTX4080).

 

How do I disable this 100% unneeded irritation?

    In the Gradient Tool options you can set Classic gradient , which should then act like the old Gradient Tool.
