Disable Path Operations Shortcut Keys

For pathing I almost exclusively use it in "Exclude Overlapping Shapes"... Often I accidentally press the / or - keys (without the shift key) which changes the setting. I will start pathing and realize it's backward. It is really annoying and I cannot find where to disable those path operation shortcuts. Does anyone else have this problem?

If you drew a lot of subpaths and only then realized that you did it in the wrong mode, what prevents you from selecting all subpaths (press ctrl and draw a rectangle that covers all subpaths) and setting them to "exclude" mode?

Selecting the points and then chaging the Path Operations Setting in the Option bar won't affect an path that is already made. I usually just end up selecting the path and inversing it, make an alpha channel if needed. It's an easy fix but I am more interested in preventing if possible. Thanks though

Are you sure, checked?
I always do that.
