disabling brush opacity hotkeys CS6

hey all. is there a way to turn off the number row 1-9 hotkey function that changes brush opacity?

(more explanation below. just wanted to throw the question at hand at the top)

currently using photoshop cs6 on windows, just got a cintiq 16 & a 36-key keypad for hotkeys. majority of my hotkeys are unchanged from the default PS ones, i just have a few modified with HIDmacros since this keypad is half that of a full keyboard.

by default, brush opacity is controlled by the number row (1-9), 1 sets opacity as 10%, 2 sets it as 20%, etc. the way the keypad i'm using is set up results in me hitting the number row on accident a bunch (usually when i'm trying to hit a different key), so in the middle of everything suddenly my brush is at 50%. i don't mess with my brush opacities very often for my work, so i'd rather just turn it off or assign it Shift + (1-9).

i've gone thru the entirety of the Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts, and brush opacity hotkeys just isn't in there. is it hidden somewhere i can't see? how do i turn this off? (CAN i turn it off?)

one option i've already tried that did NOT work: i assigned the number row (on this keypad it's 1-6) as a different set of hotkeys to see if it would override the opacity adustment. instead it just does the action i assign it AND change the opacity at the same time lol.

On Windows you can use Autohotkey to block these unconfigurable keys.
