divide image into 9 sections then export each section

Question

New to PS.  I have an image I would like to divide into 9 equal sections, then export each section to have each one printed. I guess I could just print one image then take 9 pictures (one of each section) then develope and print each one of those. Any help? Thank you.

Perhaps in it's simplest, manual form:

View menu > New Guide Layout (9 columns or rows, 0 width and gutter)
Rectangular selection the first area, then CMD/CTRL J to copy as a new layer
Select the original layer, rectangular selection the next area, then CMD/CTRL J to copy as a new layer

Then repeat steps 2 and 3. Then use the File menu > Export > Layers to Files command.

There are many different scripts available to automate this process, either creating layers or exporting files etc.
